Door County’s famed winding road, designed by famed landscape designer Jens Jensen, weaves its way through the northern tip of the peninsula, while a gentle flurry refreshes the wintery blanket of snow. The road is situated without advertisement or fanfare at the end of Highway 42 between Gills Rock and Northport Pier, where the Washington Island Ferry docks.
